Cowboys expect Dan Bailey to rebound from uncharacteristic season

Of all the Cowboys’ questions heading into 2018, one they insist they don’t have is their kicker.

Dan Bailey looked little like Dan Bailey last season.

The seven-year veteran injured his groin warming up in San Francisco. He missed most of that game and the next four. When he returned, Bailey’s accuracy didn’t.

Matt: I can’t speak for Mohamed Sanu, Kevin White Jersey but I can tell you he is a veteran player who knows how to lead. We saw Sanu step up and take on a bigger role last summer during training camp while Julio Jones was slowly being worked back into the lineup. We saw it again during OTAs and minicamp. Sanu is not only one of the better players on this team but can be vocal on the field when he needs to be, too. He’s definitely not afraid or shy when it comes to speaking up or showing one of the younger players how to do something on the practice. So, to answer your question, I don’t think the seventh-year receiver is stressed out at all.

Two motions from Donahue’s attorney will be heard on August 9. One asks for the results of a field sobriety test to be set aside due to improper and unlawful seizure and arrest while the other argues evidence obtained from all questions of drinking alcohol prior to a Miranda warning should be suppressed.

Donahue was arrested on another drunk driving charge this year when he crashed into a bus while going the wrong Peja Stojakovic Youth Jersey way through the Lincoln Tunnel. Donahue checked into a treatment facility after that arrest.

Why? Because Eric Saubert has shown up in Year 2 and has caught everything in sight. The second-year player out of Drake has looked great in practice. He’s running past guys and making plays downfield (take a peek at that clip below for a sampling). Again, it’s early and the pads aren’t on yet, but Saubert looks much improved – which should make that group even better. Now, if he can do it consistently during training camp and in the games, the Falcons will be in business. Stay tuned.
